    Workplace Bullying by Eric Hansum (Attorney at Hansum Law Firm, PLLC)

    Studies have shown that nearly 50% of workers experience some form of intimidation and emotional bullying at their place of work. The consequences include low productivity, higher health insurance premiums and estimated losses of over 250 million dollars per year.

    This program will reveal uncomfortable truths associated with bullying in the workplace and offer tangible solutions about how you can strengthen your team to create a more connected and more productive work environment. In addition, the program will examine issues surrounding workplace bullying including strategies for dealing with employees who bully others. Also, cover tips when dealing with these issues at various levels of the organization and discuss potential exposure issues for your organization.

    Eric Hansum, Hansum Law Firm, PLLC, provides employment litigation and counseling in a variety of employment issues, including wrongful terminations, discrimination and harassment matters, wage and hour law, non-competition agreements, and employment contracts.

    Eric previously served as the Assistant General Counsel and Vice President of Litigation for Harden Healthcare, LLC. He graduated cum laude from Trinity University and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He received his law degree from University of Texas School of Law. Eric has also been recognized as a Texas Rising Star in employment litigation from 2011-2013 and received an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating achievable. He is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
